Parrots and relatives

Glossy Black-Cockatoo
Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo

Gang-gang Cockatoo
 Adult and immature male.

Galah
This is the process known technically as 'allopreening'.  See also this post.

Little Corella
In case anyone is worried about the odd-looking vegetation, I took this image at Cunnamulla in SW Queensland!
Sulphur-crested Cockatoo

Scaly-breasted Lorikeet
Australian King-Parrot
The male is on the left, and the female on the right
Superb Parrot
This image by Kim Mackenzie is superb in more ways than one!  More images (by me) with further information here.

Crimson Rosella
The upper bird is an adult and the lower one a juvenile.  Two adults also got affectionate.
This is an example of dependent young behaviour with the adult feeding the young bird.

Eastern Rosella
Hybrid Crimson x Eastern Rosella
Note blue cheek!
Red-rumped Parrot
